Who named Earl Grey Tea?

Earl Grey Tea blend is supposedly named after Lord Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey, British Prime Minister in the 1830s.  He was famous as the author of the Reform Bill of 1832.  According to the Grey family, this black tea was specially blended by a Chinese Mandarin-speaking individual for Lord Grey. The water in Lord Grey’s home, named Howick Hall, in Northumberland, was filled with lime (as in the calcium-containing inorganic material). The person whipping up the tea blend added bergamot to offset the taste of lime in the local water. Lady Grey used it to entertain in London as a political hostess, and this tea proved to be incredibly popular with her guests.
