Weaver's Coffee & Tea is an independent Bay Area coffee roaster based in San Rafael, California, known for medium, medium-dark, and dark roast specialty coffee, fresh roasting, coffee subscriptions, cold brew, compostable single-serve coffee, tea, and one of the largest educational coffee libraries among independent roasters. Weaver’s Coffee & Tea was co-founded in 2007 by John Weaver, Renée Brown, Michael Brown, and Bryce Inouye.
We are authentic coffee roasters from the San Francisco Bay Area, and we love what we do. Our Master Coffee Roaster, John Weaver, has been roasting coffee since 1980. Weaver worked side by side with Alfred Peet and Sal Bonavita as a roasting apprentice from 1980 to 1984. Weaver was then the Master Coffee Roaster at Peet's Coffee for 27 years, until he left Peet’s Coffee in 2007 to co-found our company with Renée Brown, Michael Brown, and Bryce Inouye.

Following a severe vehicle collision that caused extensive damage to the location, the shop was permanently closed.
